Captus Generation is pleased to confirm that it has been acquired by Summit Point Capital L.P., a private equity group with extensive experience in delivering major infrastructure projects across Alberta and Saskatchewan.
Summit Point Capital has acquired all the assets of Captus Generation, notably a large industrial site 20 kilometres south of Pincher Creek, Alberta, and plans for cost-effective clean electricity development.
The company also announces that Harry Andersen will resume his role as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and that Eric Gallie will join the leadership team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), bringing 20 years of diverse experience in energy financing and investment.
Captus Generation remains committed to building sustainable power generation in southern Alberta, on a site that is uniquely well suited for data centre development.
